Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to, and use of, free and premium sports predictions, analysis, commentary, statistics and related content provided by Chag Sports through its Website ("Predictions").

By accessing the Website, purchasing a premium subscription or otherwise using the Predictions, you agree to these Terms.

NOTE: Chag Sports provides sports predictions and analysis only on its Website. It does not operate a sportsbook or guarantee the outcome of any sporting event.

1. Nature of the Website

1.1 Sports Predictions

The Website provides sports-related predictions, opinions, analysis, statistics, forecasts and commentary.

The Predictions are provided for informational, recreational and entertainment purposes only.

1.2 No Betting Service

The Website does not:

accept bets or wagers from users;
hold or manage money staked by users with bookmakers;
determine or control bookmaker odds;
settle bets;
pay betting winnings; or
guarantee any sporting result or betting outcome.

Any bet placed by a user based on the information on this Website is a separate transaction between that user and the bookmaker, betting operator or other third party selected by the user.

1.3 Independent Betting Decisions

Users are entirely responsible for deciding whether, where, when and how much to bet, based on the Predictions.

A prediction or recommendation made through the Website does not constitute an instruction, guarantee or representation that a user will make a profit.

2. No Guarantee of Results

2.1 No Guaranteed Outcome

Sporting events are inherently uncertain and may be affected by numerous factors outside Chag Sports' control.

A prediction may be correct or incorrect, and a user may lose some or all of any amount wagered based on a prediction.

2.2 No Guarantee of Profit

The Website does not guarantee:

that any prediction will be successful;
that any particular number or percentage of predictions will be successful;
that users will make a profit;
any minimum return on investment ("ROI");
any minimum win rate;
recovery of previous betting losses; or
any particular financial result.

2.3 Past Performance

Any historical results, records, winning percentages, testimonials, examples, statistics or previous performance displayed on the Website are provided for information only.

Past performance is not an indication or guarantee of future performance.

Historical results must not be interpreted as a promise that similar results will be achieved in the future.

3. No Control Over Sporting Outcomes

3.1 Independent Events

Chag Sports has no control over the outcome of any sporting event.

3.2 No Ability to Influence Results

Nothing contained in the Prediction Services should be interpreted as representing that Chag Sports can influence, control, manipulate or determine the outcome of any sporting event.

3.3 No Responsibility for Third Parties

Chag Sports is not responsible for:

the conduct or decisions of sporting bodies;
athletes, teams, coaches or officials;
bookmakers or betting operators;
bookmaker odds or pricing;
bookmaker settlement decisions;
changes to betting markets; or
any other third-party action affecting a user's Bet.

4. Premium Prediction Services

4.1 Premium Access

Certain predictions, analysis, selections or other content ("Prediction Services") may be available only to users who purchase a premium subscription or other paid access ("Premium Access").

4.2 What the User Is Paying For

Any fee paid for Premium Access constitutes consideration for access to the sports games, predictions and related analysis which Chag Sports selects and considers having a strong likelihood of producing the predicted outcome during the applicable subscription or access period. The fee is paid for access to the Prediction Services and is not payment for, or a guarantee of, any particular sporting outcome, winning Bet or financial return.

The fee is not payment for a guaranteed winning Bet, guaranteed profit, guaranteed prediction, or any particular financial outcome.

4.3 No Outcome-Based Refund

Because the fee is paid for access to the Prediction Services rather than for a guaranteed sporting outcome, a prediction subsequently losing, or a user failing to make a profit from using the Prediction Services, does not by itself create any right to a refund, reimbursement, compensation or recovery of the subscription or access fee.

4.4 Non-Recoverability of Fees

Subject to any mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, fees paid for Premium Access are not recoverable merely because:

a prediction is unsuccessful;
several predictions are unsuccessful;
a user loses money betting on a prediction;
the user does not place any Bet;
the user places a Bet but does not win;
the user does not achieve a desired ROI;
the user's bookmaker offers different odds;
the user disagrees with a prediction; or
the user does not achieve the financial result expected from using the Prediction Services.

4.5 No Compensation for Betting Losses

Chag Sports shall not be responsible for, and shall not reimburse, compensate or otherwise make good, any amount lost by a user through betting with a bookmaker, whether or not the Bet was based wholly or partly on a prediction provided through the Website.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Period

Premium subscriptions will remain active for the period specified at the time of purchase.

5.2 Payment

Users are responsible for paying the applicable subscription or access fee using the payment methods made available through the Website.

5.3 Access

Premium content may become available immediately following successful payment or at the commencement of the applicable subscription period.

5.4 Cancellation

A user may cancel a subscription in accordance with the cancellation procedure made available through the Website.

Cancellation will ordinarily prevent renewal at the end of the current subscription period but will not, by itself, entitle the user to reimbursement for the unused portion of an already commenced access period, subject to any mandatory statutory rights.

5.5 Refunds

Except where required by Applicable Law, subscription and access fees are non-refundable once Premium Access has commenced.

In particular, the outcome of a prediction does not determine whether a subscription fee is refundable.

6. User Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

you make your own betting decisions;
you determine the amount, timing and bookmaker through which you place any Bet;
you are responsible for understanding the risks associated with betting;
you are responsible for checking the odds and terms offered by your bookmaker;
you are responsible for ensuring that your betting activity is lawful;
you are responsible for any taxes or other obligations arising from your betting activity; and
you should not rely exclusively on any single prediction, source or provider when making financial decisions.

7. Third-Party Bookmakers and Betting Websites

7.1 Independent Services

Users may choose to use predictions provided through the Website to place Bets with independent bookmakers or betting websites.

Those services are separate from the Website.

7.2 No Responsibility for Bookmakers

Chag Sports is not responsible for:

bookmaker account restrictions;
bookmaker odds;
changes to odds;
rejected Bets;
suspended markets;
bookmaker settlement decisions;
delays in payment;
bookmaker fees or charges;
bookmaker technical failures; or
any loss arising from a user's relationship with a bookmaker.

7.3 Links

Where the Website provides links to third-party bookmakers or other websites, such links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of those third parties.

Users should review the terms and conditions of any third-party betting website before using it.

8. Prediction Content and Errors

8.1 Accuracy

Chag Sports will use reasonable care in preparing predictions and analysis but does not warrant that all information will always be complete, accurate, current or error-free.

8.2 Changes

Predictions may be changed, withdrawn or updated where new information becomes available, including changes relating to injuries, line-ups, odds, weather, event status or other relevant circumstances.

8.3 Timing

Sports information can change rapidly. A prediction provided at one time may no longer reflect the circumstances existing when a user places a Bet.

Users are responsible for checking the relevant event and bookmaker information before placing any Bet.

8.4 No Reliance

The Predictions should not be regarded as financial, investment or professional advice.

9. Intellectual Property and Premium Content

9.1 Ownership

All Predictions, written analysis, selections, methodologies, graphics, videos, databases, branding and other content provided through the Website belong to Chag Sports.

9.2 Personal Licence

Premium Access grants the subscriber a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the relevant content during the applicable subscription period.

9.3 Prohibited Sharing

Unless expressly authorised, users must not:

share Premium Access credentials;
forward or redistribute premium predictions;
publish premium selections on social media;
sell or sublicense premium content;
operate prediction-sharing groups using premium content; or
reproduce or commercially exploit premium content.

9.4 Suspension

Unauthorised sharing, resale or redistribution of Premium content may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without refund, subject to Applicable Law.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate a user's access where the user:

materially breaches these Terms;
engages in fraud or unlawful conduct;
attempts to circumvent payment or access controls;
shares or commercially exploits Premium content without authorisation;
interferes with the Website; or
otherwise misuses the Services.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued before termination.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Subject to Applicable Law, users may have rights concerning access to, correction of, objection to or other lawful control over their personal data.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 No Liability for Betting Losses

To the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, Chag Sports shall not be liable for any amount wagered, lost or otherwise incurred by a user as a result of acting upon, relying upon or using any prediction, selection, analysis or other content provided through the Website.

12.2 No Guaranteed Financial Outcome

We are not responsible for a user's failure to achieve any anticipated profit, return, win rate or financial result.

12.3 Third-Party Losses

We are not responsible for losses caused by a bookmaker, betting operator, payment provider, sporting body or other third party.

12.4 Website Availability

Subject to Applicable Law, we shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from temporary unavailability, technical failures, telecommunications failures, third-party service interruptions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12.5 Non-Excludable Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:

liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited;
liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
any non-excludable statutory obligation; or
any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

13. Consumer Rights

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Nigerian consumer-protection legislation, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Any limitation or exclusion of liability in these Terms shall apply only to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.

Where a limitation or assumption of risk is required by law to be brought conspicuously to a consumer's attention, the Website will take reasonable steps to do so before the relevant transaction.

14. Complaints

Users may submit complaints concerning:

Premium Access;
payment or subscription issues;
access to content;
account matters; or
other aspects of the Services.

Complaints should be submitted through the customer-support channels provided on the Website.

A complaint concerning the outcome of a Bet placed with a third-party bookmaker should ordinarily be directed to that bookmaker, as the bookmaker is responsible for accepting and settling that Bet.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising any statutory or regulatory right available under Applicable Law.

15. Regulatory Position

The Website provides sports predictions and related content and does not itself accept or settle Bets unless expressly stated otherwise.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any betting activity undertaken using information obtained through the Website is lawful in the jurisdiction in which they participate.

Nothing in these Terms constitutes an invitation or representation that betting with a third-party bookmaker is lawful in every jurisdiction.

Chag Sports may modify or restrict access to the Website where reasonably necessary to comply with Applicable Law or a directive of a competent authority.

16. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify the Website, Prediction Services, subscription arrangements or these Terms from time to time.

Where a change materially affects an existing subscription or a user's rights, we will provide appropriate notice where required by Applicable Law.

Changes will not retrospectively convert a prediction into a guarantee or create an obligation to refund fees merely because a prediction subsequently proves unsuccessful.

17. General

17.1 Force Majeure

We shall not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including sporting-event disruption, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, government action, natural disasters or other force majeure events.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified or severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

17.3 No Waiver

A failure to exercise a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

17.4 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other applicable legal requirements.

17.5 Jurisdiction

Subject to any mandatory statutory right to use another forum or dispute-resolution mechanism, disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

18. Summary of Terms

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING PREMIUM ACCESS.

CHAG SPORTS PROVIDES SPORTS PREDICTIONS AND ANALYSIS. IT DOES NOT CONTROL, DETERMINE OR GUARANTEE THE OUTCOME OF ANY SPORTING EVENT.

NO PREDICTION IS A GUARANTEED WIN.

A PREDICTION MAY BE WRONG AND YOU MAY LOSE MONEY IF YOU CHOOSE TO BET ON IT.

FEES PAID FOR PREMIUM ACCESS ARE PAYMENTS FOR ACCESS TO PREDICTION CONTENT AND SERVICES, NOT PAYMENTS FOR GUARANTEED WINNINGS OR PROFITS.

THE FACT THAT A PREDICTION LOSES DOES NOT, BY ITSELF, ENTITLE YOU TO RECOVER YOUR SUBSCRIPTION OR ACCESS FEE, OR ANY MONEY YOU MAY HAVE LOST THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY BETTING OPERATOR.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BETTING DECISIONS, THE AMOUNT YOU STAKE AND YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANY THIRD-PARTY BOOKMAKER.

BET ONLY WITH MONEY YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy, obligation or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Nigerian law.
