Declan Rice Close to New Arsenal Contract as Talks Reach Advanced Stage

Declan Rice is reportedly close to agreeing a new long-term contract with Arsenal, with negotiations now understood to be at an advanced stage.

The England international has become an important part of Arsenal's midfield since joining the club from West Ham United in 2023, and the latest reports suggest the Gunners are keen to secure his long-term future.

Rice Closing In on New Arsenal Deal

According to the latest reports, Arsenal and Rice are progressing towards a new contract.

Rice's current Arsenal agreement is reportedly due to expire at the end of next season. The proposed new deal would strengthen the club's commitment to the midfielder and could also see him receive a significant increase in salary.

The development comes as Arsenal continue to build around a core group of key players under Mikel Arteta.

An Important Player for Arsenal

Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium, Rice has established himself as one of Arsenal's key midfielders.

His ability to contribute defensively, carry the ball forward and influence matches from midfield has made him an important figure in Arteta's team.

With Arsenal looking to maintain their position among England's leading clubs, securing Rice's future would represent another significant step in the club's long-term planning.

What Happens Next?

The latest reports indicate that discussions are progressing, but the new contract has not yet been officially announced by Arsenal.

Fans will therefore be waiting for confirmation from the club before considering the new agreement complete.

For now, the focus remains on the negotiations and whether Rice will officially put pen to paper on a new long-term Arsenal deal.
