BREAKING: Nuno Mendes Ruled Out of Barcelona Clash With Muscle Injury
Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Nuno Mendes will miss the upcoming clash against Barcelona after suffering a muscle injury.
The Portuguese left-back underwent medical tests, which revealed a serious muscle problem that will keep him out of action for several weeks.
Mendes' absence is a significant blow for PSG, given his defensive quality, pace and attacking contributions from the left flank. His unavailability could also affect PSG's plans for the highly anticipated encounter against Barcelona.
The injury means fans will have to wait for another opportunity to see Mendes face Barcelona's attacking threats, including young Spanish star Lamine Yamal.
PSG will now have to consider alternative options at left-back while Mendes focuses on his recovery. His return will depend on his progress and further medical assessments.
